And you can feel it in everything Sagittarius touches: bigger, broader, further, higher. The deep turquoise of distant waters, the burnt orange of desert sunsets, the rich purple of twilight skies. These aren&#8217;t muted palettes, they&#8217;re alive, bold, saturated with the richness of experience.</p><p><strong>Imagery that invites expansion</strong> Open roads disappearing into the horizon. Mountain peaks touching clouds. Fields that roll on forever. Hands holding worn passports stamped with stories. Maps marked with destinations. The visual vocabulary is about possibility, exploration, and that magnetic pull toward what&#8217;s just beyond reach.</p><p><strong>Typography with adventure in its bones</strong> Sagittarius fonts are either big and bold&#8212;commanding attention like a signpost on a wilderness trail &#8212; or weathered and worn, like a much-loved travel journal that&#8217;s been everywhere with you. Hand-lettered, organic, full of character. These are fonts that speak of adventures taken and adventures still to come.</p><blockquote><p>You might be forgiven for thinking a Sagittarius brand is earthy at first glance. And in a way, it is, but Sagittarius does &#8220;earth&#8221; differently than Taurus, Capricorn, or Virgo ever could. <strong>This is Earth in the context of the </strong><em><strong>universe</strong></em><strong>.</strong> It&#8217;s about our place in the vastness, our universal quest for knowledge, our search for answers to the big questions. fascinates me about Sagittarius: for all its expansive, freedom-seeking, horizon-chasing energy (which is why we can feel so scattered in Sagittarius season), at its heart is that <strong>moment of the drawn arrow.</strong></p><p>The Archer must <em>focus</em>. Must <em>aim.</em> </p><p>Must choose a direction even while knowing there are infinite directions to choose from.</p><p>This for me is the beauty of working with Sagittarius in branding: channelling all that wanderlust and wonder into something <em>cohesive</em>. Something that captures the spirit of adventure without scattering into restless chaos.</p><div><hr></div><h2>Layering Sagittarius into your brand</h2><p>Recently, I&#8217;ve been working with several clients whose ideal audience has strong Sagittarius placements. In this case, Sagittarius energy works best as an accent, a carefully chosen touch of fire woven into the larger tapestry of your brand.</p><p>A few carefully selected images that evoke wanderlust. An accent colour that pops with optimism and vitality. Messaging that speaks to possibility and expansion. A layout that creates breathing room, that suggests space and freedom.</p><p>The key is balance. </p><h4><strong>This is important: </strong></h4><p><strong>We don&#8217;t let the client archetype define the entire brand direction</strong>. We start with <em>you</em>, your unique astrological signature, your message and mission. Then we layer over that of your clients. In this case, Sagittarius energy to call in those adventurous, seeking, growth-oriented souls who will resonate with what you offer.</p><p>Because your brand isn&#8217;t for your ideal client&#8217;s archetype. It&#8217;s an expression of <em>yours</em>. And when that expression is authentic, it magnetises the right people naturally.</p><div><hr></div><h2>The Invitation to Explore</h2><p>If you have Sagittarius placements in your <a href="https://www.astro.com/cgi/chart.cgi?rs=3&amp;btyp=w2gw">natal chart</a>&#8212;particularly your Sun, Rising, or Moon&#8212;you have access to one of the most inspiring brand energies in the zodiac, and leaning in could be a highly strategic move.</p><blockquote><p>Your brand can be the thing that makes people believe in possibilities again. visually. </p><p>It&#8217;s one of those archetypes that people think they understand because they know the clich&#233;s: dark, intense, intriguing, seductive, a little bit dangerous.</p><p>But those descriptions barely graze the surface.</p><p>While other archetypes announce themselves clearly - think Leo&#8217;s radiance, Aries&#8217; boldness, Libra&#8217;s harmony -  lovely Scorpio whispers from the depths. </p><h2>Why does this matter</h2><p>If you&#8217;re new here, let me first start by explaining why I&#8217;m exploring brand identity through the lens of astrology.</p><p>You see, most people begin branding from the outside in. </p><p>Pinterest boards, competitor research, screenshots of other people&#8217;s visuals. Basically, trying to find inspiration instead of finding themselves.</p><p>But that approach so often creates brands that look good, but feel empty and lack longevity.</p><blockquote><p>Personally, I believe your brand should be the outer expression of your inner world &#8212; an alignment between who you are and how you show up. But to express your truth outwardly, you first need to know <em>who you are</em>. </p></blockquote><p><strong>Astrology helps with this part.</strong></p><p>Astrology cuts through noise, conditioning, expectations, and borrowed identities. It invites us to drop deeper into our brand, to ask better questions, and to uncover the essence that&#8217;s been there all along.</p><p><em>And that&#8217;s where the magic happens.</em></p><p>And so, if you&#8217;re a Scorpio, or have prominent Scorpio placements, leaning in to this energy could be a <em>really </em>strategic business and marketing move.</p><p>Ok, so now I&#8217;ve got that straight, we can move on!</p><h2>Scorpio brand energy</h2><p>If you&#8217;re close to any Scorpio&#8217;s in your personal or founder life, then you&#8217;ll know certain things about them. </p><ul><li><p>They don&#8217;t do small talk. </p></li><li><p>They don&#8217;t skim the surface. </p></li><li><p>They&#8217;re not impressed by performance or polish. </p></li><li><p>They want the truth&#8230; the real truth&#8230; even if it&#8217;s uncomfortable.</p></li></ul><p>Scorpio energy has this way of seeing straight through the fa&#231;ade to whatever is actually happening underneath. </p><p>They can feel when someone is out of alignment. They know when a story has been overly edited. They notice the crack in someone&#8217;s voice long before the words make sense. That&#8217;s why people often feel so seen - sometimes uncomfortably so - in their presence.</p><p><em><strong>Scorpio as a brand expression is no different.</strong></em></p><p>It&#8217;s not interested in surface-level aesthetics or &#8220;looking the part.&#8221; It won&#8217;t settle for a brand that&#8217;s pretty and polished, but hollow. </p><p>Scorpio stands for something more honest, layered, and <em>felt</em>. And yes, these elements can be part of the visual vocabulary, but it&#8217;s not the whole story. </p><p>Scorpio is a water sign, but not the gentle waves of Cancer or the dreamy mist of Pisces. To me, it&#8217;s the deep water. Reflective, powerful, shifting from stillness to fierce intensity in a breath. </p><p>Visually, this shows up for me in the contrasts: the quiet, glassy moments before something unfolds&#8230; and the sudden glint of light that reveals a hidden layer. Intentional. Like every element has been filtered through meaning.</p><p>But of course, this might not be how Scorpio is asking to be expressed through you&#8230;</p><h2>How Scorpio wants to be expressed in you</h2><p>I think it would be good to add flavour (depth!?) here with a personal example. </p><p>I have a stellium in Scorpio, plus my Midheaven (the pinnacle of career and reputation, what I&#8217;m ultimately meant to become known for) is also here. </p><p>When I discovered this during my last website refresh, I initially went all in on the above themes. And, honestly&#8230;it didn&#8217;t feel quite like me. </p><p>Something was off. I&#8217;d tried to express Scorpio the way I <em>thought</em> it should look, rather than how it wanted to live through me.</p><p>When I stopped trying to &#8220;perform Scorpio&#8221; and started to blend it with my other energies, it felt much better. I brought in my Libra Sun&#8217;s beauty and harmony, my Cancer Moon&#8217;s nurturing warmth, my natural Taurus brand foundations, and everything clicked. </p><p>My brand felt so much more <em>me</em>. If you&#8217;re interested, you can see where I landed <a href="http://www.freshleafcreative.co.uk">here.</a></p><p>This taught me a valuable lesson about working with zodiac archetypes in branding: <strong>that the way these energies want to be expressed differs from person to person.</strong></p><p><strong>&#92435; </strong>Some people embody Scorpio through visuals&#8212;the dark, sensual, dramatic aesthetic speaks authentically to who they are.</p><p><strong>&#92435; </strong>Some express it through words&#8212;piercing, transformative copy that cuts through superficiality.</p><p><strong>&#92435; </strong>And some, like me, channel it through the nature of the work itself. Balanced. Elegant. <em>Pretty</em>.</p><p>As the most harmonious sign of the zodiac,  there&#8217;s truth in that. But there&#8217;s also so much more to Libra than aesthetics. </p><p>Libra is ruled by Venus, and Venus isn&#8217;t just about beauty. That&#8217;s only half the story. Real Venus energy is <strong>not easy.</strong> </p><p>She&#8217;s not just about roses and soft light; She&#8217;s about values. Justice. Reciprocity. Right relationship. She&#8217;s the force that asks us to live in integrity with what we say we value &#8212; in love, in business, in brand, in life. </p><p>And that&#8217;s where it gets uncomfortable. </p><blockquote><p>Because real harmony isn&#8217;t about making everything look neat and pretty on the surface. <em>It&#8217;s about truth.</em> </p></blockquote><p>It&#8217;s about holding the line when your voice shakes. It&#8217;s about refusing to abandon yourself just to keep the peace. It&#8217;s about saying no when yes would be easier.</p><p>I think the real work of Libra is gritty, and lives in the tension between:</p><ul><li><p>People-pleasing and true harmony</p></li><li><p>Aesthetic perfection and authentic expression</p></li><li><p>Indecision and intuitive knowing</p></li></ul><p>For me, this tension isn&#8217;t just an energy I view from afar. </p><p>With my Sun in Gate 46 (embodiment, determination of the self ), it&#8217;s a rhythm I&#8217;ve had to learn to live in over the years. </p><p>The constant invitation to return to centre&#8230;<br>To find equilibrium between giving and receiving&#8230;<br>To breathe when I want to push&#8230;</p><p>Because Libra isn&#8217;t the absence of conflict, it&#8217;s the commitment to standing up for what you believe in, and finding balance in the <em>midst</em> of it.</p><p>That&#8217;s the Libra I love. </p><p>Not just pretty, but powerful, too.</p><h4>Brand Alchemy: How Libra Shows Up in Form</h4><p>Libra is an air sign. She needs space. She needs to breathe. She doesn&#8217;t thrive under clutter &#8212; whether that&#8217;s in your brand, in your business, or in your life.</p><p>In visual brand expression, Libra energy naturally translates into:</p><ul><li><p>Balanced layouts and harmonious compositions</p></li><li><p>Spacious design and airiness</p></li><li><p>A neutral or timeless palette with elegant accents</p></li><li><p>Flowing, refined fonts</p></li><li><p>Imagery that reflects calm, connection, and grace</p></li></ul><p>When I think of a Libra colour palette, I think of the colours of the sky:</p><p><strong>The first light of morning:</strong> muted peachy blush, warm creams, soft shell pinks, pale sky blues,</p><p><strong>The golden hour:</strong> warm golds, honey neutrals, pale terracotta, soft mauves.</p><p><strong>The stillness of twilight:</strong> muted indigos, slate blue-grey, soft silver highlights, deep navy.   </p><p>But it&#8217;s not <em>just</em> about looking good. Libra brands feel <em>safe</em>, <em>trustworthy</em>, and <em>considered</em>. </p><p>Virgo is earth.</p><p>She&#8217;s not loud or flashy. It&#8217;s the part of me that notices, refines, and quietly holds space. Virgo is also my inner perfectionist who is always getting lost in the detail, and has to remind herself constantly that &#8220;done is better than perfect&#8221;.</p><p>If you&#8217;ve ever scrolled zodiac memes, you&#8217;ll know one of the classics: <em>Virgos are always brown*, and they don&#8217;t like it.</em></p><p>And yes, somehow it&#8217;s true - earthy, muted, practical tones that feel grounded, reliable, and unflashy. It&#8217;s not boring; it&#8217;s intentional. It&#8217;s elegance without excess, functionality that feels comforting. </p><p>Virgo in branding is the same. It&#8217;s about creating something that feels <em>right</em> - from colour palettes and typography to layouts and patterns - everything considered, nothing wasted. </p><p>The magic is in the details, the quiet order, the sense that every element has a reason <em>to be.</em></p><p>I love this archetype because it teaches me patience, care, and the subtle power of restraint. There&#8217;s brilliance in being understated. Power in holding space. </p><p>If there were a quote to define Virgo, it would be this one:</p><div class="pullquote"><p>'Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when <em><strong>there is nothing left to take away</strong></em>.' - Antoine de Saint-Exup&#233;ry</p></div><p>Virgo reminds us that clarity, intention, and grounded elegance are quietly magnetic - and sometimes, the most powerful brands are the ones that let their details speak for themselves.</p><p>*Note: there are good and bad ways to &#8220;do brown&#8221; in your brand :)</p><h4>Virgo brand styling basics</h4><p>When it comes to brand styling, the idea is that we use the tools we have available to us, such as fonts, colours, patterns etc., to create a desired feeling and impact. </p><p>Brand styling through Virgo is about more than just looking &#8220;clean&#8221; or &#8220;minimalist.&#8221; It&#8217;s about creating a brand that breathes care, intention and trust, and we use the brand styling toolkit to achieve that aim. </p><p>So, for instance, Virgo might express as: </p><ul><li><p><strong>Colour:</strong> earthy, muted, grounding tones. Soft sage, warm taupe, gentle creams - colours that feel steady and calming.</p></li><li><p><strong>Form &amp; Layout:</strong> clean grids, intuitive flow, and subtle alignment that feels organised, but not rigid.</p></li><li><p><strong>Typography:</strong> classic, readable, elegant fonts with clean lines. No flamboyant &#8220;look at me&#8221; energy.</p></li><li><p><strong>Pattern &amp; Texture:</strong> restrained, considered touches. visual brand expression, astrology works far better than Human Design<strong>.</strong> </p><p>HD is supercharged and fascinating for understanding deep energy dynamics, but I don&#8217;t find it tangible enough to translate into specific brand visuals. </p><p>Astrology, on the other hand, gives us something incredibly concrete to work with: rich, symbolic energies that can be expressed very clearly through design.</p><p>My role as a designer is simple: <strong>to create a visual identity that&#8217;s a match for my client&#8217;s energy</strong>. The tools in my toolkit? Leo is a warm leadership energy with a generous heart.</p><p>When I was creating the Leo astrology <a href="https://payhip.com/b/Aa7Kt">brand style guide</a>, there was no playing small. </p><p>Leo doesn&#8217;t sit quietly in the corner. </p><p><em><strong>You notice her in a room, and you should notice her in the marketplace.</strong></em> </p><p>Think bold patterns and imagery, unapologetic fonts, rich and vibrant colour palettes. always start with you. </p><p>We don&#8217;t blindly follow advice, or even Astrology, without first considering what resonates with us.</p><p>We pause to feel into the archetype:</p><ul><li><p>Does this energy feel like home?</p></li><li><p>Does it light you up?</p></li><li><p>Or does it ask too much of you right now? </p></li><li><p>Is this an energy I&#8217;m <em>growing into</em>?</p></li></ul><p>You might decide that Leo is your anchor and can become the heartbeat of your brand expression, influencing everything from your logos and imagery, to your colour palette and to the way you show up in words.</p><p>Or Leo&#8217;s influence might be more subtle and share the spotlight with another archetype&#8230; showing up as a subtle nod through an accent colour or a playful burst of pattern.</p><p>And that&#8217;s the beauty of working this way. </p><p>Your brand isn&#8217;t frozen in time. It evolves with you. </p><p>The process of blending different energies for my clients is what I call Astrology brand alchemy. </p><h4>Personal reflections on Leo </h4><p>In my own chart, Leo shows up only once. I have Human Design Gate 31 (<em>Arrogance</em> &#8211; <em>Leadership &#8211; Humility</em>) in my Personality Jupiter, and it&#8217;s the only fire sign in my chart. </p><p>In Gene Keys, Jupiter represents the &#8220;pearl&#8221; of your prosperity sequence. It&#8217;s the &#8220;reward&#8221; that comes when you&#8217;re fully living your vocation, your culture, and your life&#8217;s work.</p><p>For a long time, the bold Leo confidence didn&#8217;t come naturally to me. But the more I&#8217;ve stepped into holding space for others &#8212; through the community and co-working I run &#8212; the more I&#8217;ve felt that warm Leo glow. I feel more of the pull to lead, not from above, but from alongside, and the joy of watching other people take their own stage.</p><p><em><strong>Leo reminds us: visibility isn&#8217;t about taking the light for ourselves.
